Recumbent Wheels
Hed makes most of the common recumbent sized wheels using Jet style construction. We have 17" Moulton size, 406 and 451. For back wheels we can do 17", 406, 451, 559 , 650 and 700.
Any of these wheels are available on Sonic hubs, or we can custom build on most other hubs. If using sonic, we can substitute 6/4 titanium bladed spokes for the straight pull steel spokes. The charge is $1 per spoke.
Spoke counts are as follows:
Moulton sized - 20 holes front and rear 2x or radial
406 - 28 holes, 2x or radial
451 - 24 holes, 2x or radial
559 - 28, 32, or 36 hole, 3x, 2x, radial
650c - 18 hole front radial, 24 front or rear 2x or 2x /radial
700c - 24 hole front radial, 28 hole rear 2x/radial.
